15. Riding a Wolf's Back

The fog came, Burdak's heart rumbled, he remembered what had happened to him a few years ago, the incident that made him reluctant to enter this forest again. Randu is already beside him, sitting down and holding her big toe which had hit the wood. While Burdak watched warily what is happening before his eyes. The fog is very dense, but strangely from where he is standing… everything is clear. Half of the logs are covered in mist… and the view of the moss forest is nowhere to be seen. He prayed silently, nothing would happen.

Randu pulled her leg, seeking attention. Perhaps she thought she is still not allowed to speak, indeed Burdak had not told her that they had passed through the moss forest. They entered an area called Pine-five. Why is it called like that..because along this area can only live as many as five pine trees? It can't be less and it can't be more. Each tree is hundreds of meters away from one another. Burdak raised Randu's hand to help him up. H
