Chapter 38

Hypnotized

I lOOKED up in amazement when I saw him standing right at the edge of the pool where I was about to climb.

"Would you mind if I join you in swimming?" he repeats the question.

I closed my mouth and swallowed. I slightly nodded at him. "O-of course, y-you can," I answered when I recovered from my confusion.

He smiled. Swallowed the half glass of cucumber juice he was carrying. He then placed the empty glass on the edge of the pool and then dived.

I gasped. I could only breathe properly there. I went up. I let him swim while I put on the wardrobe and then sat on the chair.

I tried not to look at him while he was swimming. I just ate a chicken lollipop and drank my leftover cucumber juice.

"Aurora, aren't you going to swim again?"

I turned around when he spoke. "I'll be back later. Don't mind me, just enjoy yourself."

"Okay."

He swam several times. Later he also went up. Suddenly I sat up straight and felt lost and confused again. I can't understand the beating of my chest any
