"Regan. Look," Bastian said, pointing to the open door and the stairs.

"Is this a secret passage?" asked Regan.

"I don't know," Bastian replied.

The laughter made them both stare at each other. The two ran out of the room, and at the intersection of the room where they had first arrived was a large 45-inch television.

On the screen, Carlo's face appeared, laughing with satisfaction. "You stupid humans. You think you can trap me?"

"You pet dogs don't know any better. I gave you a good chance, but you turned against me. Taste the consequences; you'll never get this medicine. Look, this is what you wanted, isn't it?" exclaimed Carlo, showing the metal suitcase to his happy laughter.
