CHAPTER 53

LUKA’S POV

Instantly, I started laughing and removed his mask.

“What the hell Luka?” She yelled

“I hate it when you sneak up on me like that,” I raised an eyebrow as I stared at her.

It wasn’t my fault that she couldn’t recognize my scent immediately after I walked in, it was her fault for shutting her wolf out and breaking our mind link. I’d noticed the connection had been broken since the day I went to see her at the school but I decided against asking her about it because I didn’t want to scare her.

“Apologies for that, your grace. I promise not to sneak up on you like that anymore even though that was fun,” I laughed. She glared at me before she twisted her hand into a fist and punched my chest.

We were back in the room already and she won’t stop talking about how I scared the hell out of her. She punched me the second time and I fell to the floor, holding my chest, pretending I found it difficult to breathe.

“Stop messing with me, Luka, and find something else to do,”
