The next day, 

Kathy woke up bright and early with the sound of an alarm ringing straight through her ears. She reached over and warily moved her hand to look for her phone, still eye closed. Managing to find her phone, she looked over it and got the time. It was 7:00 in the morning and she woke up early. Probably because of her wrong alarm timing. 

Still her eyes closed, she put her phone down and dropped her head on the pillow, laying on her stomach. Last night she didn't have any sleep, tossing and turning in her bed. She was ogling in the dark night until the early trimester of the morning. The optic nerve in her eyes senses the morning light coming out from her closed curtains as she sits upright.
