CHAPTER 29

Its been 3 days, 3 days of me seating beside Matias’ bed waiting for him to wake up. I’ve watched him just sleep and snore for 3 whole days and that was the only indication that he was alive. I was holding his hand for all the time that I sat there, which was in fact 2 days, I’d got up only to use the bathroom. Roman forced me to eat a few time but the food always came back up as it did whenever I was worried about something. I was the morning of the 4th day and I could feel my body weakening already even though I told Roman and the rest of my brothers that I was totally fine. I looked up when I saw the door of the ward open, it was Diego and Roman both looking fresh because I’d told them to go home and freshen up.
