Penitence

Anika groaned in pain, feeling the throbbing pain in her head and nausea, the movement around her making her aware that she was in a vehicle, the smell of leather and blood making her tense, as well as the feel of her bare skin against something rough. and that covered her completely, she opened her eyes slowly, feeling a pang in the back of her head, she didn't know where she was, her heart was pounding as memories began to fill her mind, Klaus had been in the cabin, then the shots…no, it hadn't been Klaus, had it? Her head ached and she wasn't completely sure what had happened, but the blow to her head and the fear that settled in her chest told her that there was something wrong, she just had to understand what. She tried to sit up, but a hand tugged at her side causing her to freeze.
