Chapter 20

Kabir--

Next day I woke up with the ringing sound of my phone, and I open my eyes slowly, to pickup the call.

I hurriedly pick the call without seeing the caller I'd, just in the hope that it was maybe from Anshika.

"Hello Anshika where are you? I'm getting worried about your whereabouts? Tell me.." my words cut in middle with the sound of some soft yet angry voice, that's when I noticed the call is from mom.

"Hello Kabir, what are you talking? where is Anshika? Did you say or do something to or with her?" She bombed me with questions.

"Hey mom, I'm talking nothing, it's just Anshika and I had a small fight and she leaves the house, (deep sigh) I saw every possible place and she's nowhere to be found, can you ask to mom or dad (Anshika's parents) about her secret place, maybe they know?" I said with lots of courage. I know my mom's anger if she busted then I'll be dead.

"Kabir, you are an idiot son, dad and now husband. You hurt your wife on the very second day of your wedding?" M
