CHAPTER FORTY
As speculated, Ace swallows his enormous pride(I’m sorry Ace) and comes over to Asher’s house. We are both seated in the living room and he has been staring at me for close to fifteen minutes now without uttering a word.
I wonder what is running on his mind. Judging from his facial expression, it cannot be something nice. He looks pissed off.
“I thought you said you were going to move in with Kyle”
“Ace I already answered that question.”

“Change of plans. Alora suggested something better”

I am beyond shocked to wake up and find myself lying on my bed. I don’t remember coming in here myself, I fell asleep while cuddled up in Ace’s arms. LUNA’S POVSo, as if showing up at Asher's house unannounced wasn’t enough, Kyle just decided to ruin my evening by telling me that someone else took my place at the company. He’s all about how he doesn’t want me stressing up myself and I don’t know how many times I have to tell him that I’m pregnant not dying. ASHER’S POVI park in the driveway at the Heritage Empire premises and walk into the lobby totally aware of the commotion my presence is causing. I’m not any ordinary Attorney in my country, I’m actually the best and I take after my father who’s now an Attorney General. Politicians detests me because I don’t compromise when it comes to exposing their evil deeds. I had my first major case when I was twenty four, I had just started working in in my father’s law-firm and he entrusted me with a political case. The former Minister of Finance had a bad attitude of embezzling state funds and investing in other countries. He was sued by my very own father and he entrusted me with the case.I can still remember how worked up I was throughout that case, but with the help of some IT experts and legal duty colleagues, I aced it. ACE’S POVAs I drive over to Asher’s house to pick Luna up, the only thing on my mind are his words. He has challenged me to make Luna mine within six months and it’s barely four months to my wedding with Sophia. I know Asher all too well, he doesn’t give his word in vain, if I don’t have Luna and he does, it is the end for me. It will cost him nothing to file a restraining order against me the way he did with Seven. Not even the baby will be able to make us close again. Luna’s POV“I’m never getting used to this” I whisper to Ace. We are both in the echography room and I’m lying on the hospital bed in a hospital dress. As stupid as I am, I put on a dress and now I had take it all off to change into a hospital dress right in front of Ace. He blatantly refused to leave the room when I asked him to so I could change. You have no idea how much I blushed and I’m still blushing right now. His hand hasn’t left my tummy ever since I lay on this bed.
