Chapter 178: You are safe now

Barbara opens her eyes slowly, she is still feeling weak and dizzy. But it was nothing compared to the loud sound of those gunshots. She couldn't remember what exactly happened before she passed out, all she could remember was Dante shielding that bullet from getting to her. She got worried that something bad must have happened to Dante.

As Dante been shot? She saw Claudia grab the gun, and she was aiming at her, Dante hugged her tight and whispered, I love you very much.

"Oh my God! You are finally awake." Kathleen gasped and then hurried to get the doctor but Barbara held her wrist.

"Li Jun! Where is Li Jun?" She whispered in her weak state, Kathleen caressed her hair and gave her a reassuring smile, that smile showed that Dante was safe but she was still curious.

"Hey lover, he is fine, he is talking to the cops. He will be back here in a few minutes, you two are safe, you just passed out because you're stressed and..." Kathleen paused them look at Barbara.
