Chapter 48

Today was the day, the day that Autumn was going to have her surgery. Nerve-wracking was an understatement, Autumn was terrified. Dr. Ali had made it clear to the couple that this was a risky task no matter how good he was at his job. Although Micheal had forbidden Autumn from saying anything negative about this situation, she couldn't help but feel that something was going to happen. But she tried, tried to stay positive, but she was afraid.

Currently, Autumn was in the arms of the man that she loved the most in this world, while they stood under the shower as the water poured over them. Autumn laid her head on Micheal's chest as she listened to his heart that was racing a mile a minute. He too was nervous, if anything goes wrong with this surgery, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself.
