Aiden ends up carrying Cassandra into Michael’s bed and she only stirs when she’s placed down onto the sheets.
Aiden sits on the bed next to her and swipes her fringe off her forehead.
“It’s okay, Cass, just gets you comfortable,” Aiden reassures an exhausted Cassandra.
“Sorry I fell asleep,” Cassandra says tiredly as she looks at her brother.
“Don’t apologize kiddo, you need your rest” Aiden smiles. Cassandra sighs.
“Do you, do you think I should move in with Michael?” Cassandra asks innocently.
She wants to say yes to Michael but she wants her brothers' approval too.

~ Cassandra~I hop off the stool abandoning my bowl of half-eaten soup and goes get dressed, Michael heading for the shower. It’s cold out and I dress in black skinny jeans, a white sweater and a beanie, Michael donning his crisp grey suit. He looks so sexy and intimidating that I have to suppress a shiver every time I look at him.We reach the office with no hassle, having Michael's extended security team helps but it also draws more attention than I’m used to.Once safely inside the building, I sense Michael turning his cold, intimidating exterior on, the one that I am not used to seeing anymore. I was waiting for the meeting to wrap up soon so I would go to her. I know she is with my niece and they might be enjoying each other's company without getting bored. ~AUTHOR’S POV~ Cassandra wakes to a click and comes face to face with Michael and Eren snapping a few pics of her and Ava. “Sorry, we fell asleep” Cassandra whispers. “We’re sorry the meeting ran late, thank you for watching her Cassandra, she’s smitten,” Eren says. “I am too,” Cassandra smiles. As Eren’s face reflects her and picks Ava up, they say goodbye and Eren leaves the office. Cassandra looks toward Michael as she notices his clenched jaw as she gazes at his tight-fisted hands, she wonders what he’s thinking but pushes the thought back when Michael smiles and sits next to Cassandra on the couch and kisses on her couch... “Thank you for watching, Ava,” Michael says.

Aaron looks at his little sister with adoration, she is dressed in black sweats and Michael’s grey hoodie and Aaron thinks she’s so tiny and adorable in those clothes. Michael was presented there as he watches on fondly as Aaron picks Cassandra up, cuddles her, and places her on the bench. He then stands in front of Cassandra smiling. Michael grabs Aaron’s beer and his own wine glass and hands Aaron his drink.
