Riley’s POV
“So, you are sharing your room with a sexy Greek god… This sounds exciting and you know what will be great Riles-“
“Don’t say it,” I said in a warning tone.
“You are a buzz killer,” Athena trailed off with a pout on her lips.
“And I didn’t say he’s sexy,” I retorted back, and she rolled her eyes.
“I know my best friend and by the look on your face, I would say that you liked him,” she asserted with a proud smile.
“Your fantasy is getting out of hand,” I remarked sarcastically, and she broke out into laughter.
I glared at her through the camera and she stopped laughing, smiling cheekily at me. I set my phone back on the table and continued eating my dinner, which was a steak and mashed potatoes.

Zack’s POV I’m supposed to write a book on how to make someone hate you in just a few minutes. I watched Riley storm away after she lashed out at me. What did I expect from her? Of course, she would snap at me. I crossed the lines, stepping into her personal life. I didn’t have to prove my point why she was here alone because it seemed she came here to forget what happened. All of this happened because I just wanted to have her attention, or spend some time with her. When her eyes met mine, I lost sense of the world. Everything around us was gone. The sound was all muted, and all I could see was her, only her. She struck me with one of her arrows, saving Cupid’s time and claiming me as her prey. Not that I mind. I was just simply drawn to a stranger who I only know her name. A part of me knew she felt what I felt when our gazes met, that little spark igniting in our chests, the carnival of butterflies.

Riley’s POV My legs carried me to god knows where, no I didn’t stay in my place. I needed to return to the resort and I couldn’t do that if I was staying still. I thought, picking up my pace. After a few minutes, I reached the spot, and it was a nightclub, as I expected.
