Chapter 108 BRUCE JENKINS

I got an emergency patient as soon as I got to the hospital. There weren't much doctors in the ER so I had to attend. I felt somehow uncomfortable with this patient especially since he's a lot older. I heard he had an heart attack while driving. He didn't get more injury anywhere else other than his head and legs. I had to take him to surgery immediately and it was successful thankfully.

During times like this, I miss Gabriel a lot. He's always handling emergency situations like this. I can't wait for him to come back. It was already dark by the time I came out of surgery. The man's family were waiting outside for the news. His wife and two children who are obviously grown up were waiting. I guess they care about him a lot.

How I wish I had a family like this too. Would my father want to look at me if I went to him now? I don't even know if he's looking for me or not. What if he has a family like this and he doesn't want anything to do with me? I wouldn't want to get hurt from that
