Larry turned to me with a surprised face. Wasn't he expecting this? Why does he look so surprised?

"Bianca? What are you doing... Is she your daughter?" He asked my father unable to hide his shock.

My father nodded, "It's a long story but she's my real daughter and first child. I told you that you're going to like her. Isn't she a great choice?"

He scratched his head, "I only said I'd marry your daughter as a joke but you took it seriously."

He turned to me and shook his head, "I don't think this is going to work."

"What?" My father and I exclaimed at the same time.

He awkwardly laughed, "I'm not rejecting her if that's what you're thinking. How dare I do that? I'm just saying this because she has someone already."

"What do you mean?" I was too eager to know what the reason was even though I wasn't going to accept.
