Aileen's POV

"Here's the new scarf you requested for ma'am." The shop attendant presented the scarf to me.

I was too lost to hear her before. I can't stop thinking about the issue with Damon. I am buying new scarves because I need something to cover my bruises until they heal. It was already hard enough for me to leave home this morning.

"Do you have any more designs? I don't like this one." I told them without taking another look at the scarf.

I am too annoyed to even make a decision. Damon hurt me because of that bitch. I just can't let this go. I guess I won't be able to bring Damon back to his senses unless something damage happens to him.

The attendant brought another scarf, she looked too stressed out. I am not the type to show mercy on people like her but I also happen to not have any strength to cause trouble right now.

"Get me some more of this brand. I like it." I ordered her, facing the mirror back as I couldn't stop touching my neck.
