Under Arrest

Eliana called the hospital to find out about her father. The nurse told her that his condition was stable, yet every second hour, she would go restless. Augustus, who was on the laptop, noticed her concerned expressions.

"Your father will be alright," Augustus said as he stopped typing.

Eliana looked in his direction and curled her fingers around her phone. "Augustus, may I ask something?"

"Hmm."

"Who wants to kill you?" Her sudden question was not expected by Augustus. "I suppose you already know," she deduced.

"If I had known, then I would not have asked you to be my bodyguard," Augustus stated.

"But why would someone want to kill you? If you have suspicions, then you can take the help of the police too," Eliana suggested to him.

"I explained to you earlier as well that I cannot go to the police without any proof. Moreover, I want to find out about the person, who is behind my life. If you will be by my side, no one will ever be suspicious and I will always feel safe," Augustu
