96. The Staggering Truth

"What is this helmet for?" Max asked as Gabriella put a headgear on him.

"Don't you remember? The doctor said that you have to be careful so you don't hit your head again," the woman explained with a serious look.

"But I'm fine, Gaby. This helmet will actually hinder my movement,” Max protested pitifully.

Without thinking, Gabriella shook her head. "You have promised to obey all my orders if you want to participate in this mission."

A second later, the man let out a resigned sigh. "I never thought that I am going to save the box that once I wanted to burn."

“Stop grumbling! Come on in action! Uncle John, please pray for us,” the woman said while clenching her fists in the air. The middle-aged man behind the wheel nodded with a faint smile.

“Do you realize that this idea is so ridiculous?” Max whispered as he crept into the dark with his wife and two small dim flashlights.
