Extra Chapter| 5. Senile Old Man
“Come here, Ace! Look how many horses there are in here,” Cayden said as he waved at the baby girl Mia was holding.
As if understanding the meaning of the call, Grace raised her hand and pointed her index finger at the stable. With a blink of an eye, she signaled to her mother to walk faster.
“Alright, Little Princess. Let's come to your cousin," Mia whispered while stepping wider.
Jumping up and down, Cayden waited for his playmate to arrive. Only after the auntie passed the door, then he walked again. Vigorously, the toddler dragged Gabriella to follow his steps.
"Come on, Mom! Let’s greet every horse belonging to Grandpa Hunt," the Little Prince exclaimed while moving towards the nearest stall.
With slightly curved lips, Gabriella kept up with her son's enthusiasm. Cayden's energy never ebbed. Even when he knew the window to peek was out of reach, the toddler kept trying to find the hole between the boards.

Blinking slowly, she pursed her lips. The furrow of her tiny brows indicated that she still wanted to roll up in the blanket on the crib. The baby wondered why she was with her great-grandfather, sitting on a long bench at the edge of a path. “When I was young, I only need fifteen minutes to arrive at your great-grandmother's grave. But now, why does it feel so long and tiring?” Mr. Hunt grumbled as he wiped his forehead with one hand. After one quick breath, the old man stood up again and held Grace in his languid arms. Although the baby was a bit heavy, his lips still curled up warmly.

After searching for a while, he finally found the grandmother's name on one of the stones. “Right, this is the place. They should be here," Julian sighed, sounding desperate. With deep furrows, he circled around, trying to find any trace of either his daughter or Grandpa Hunt. Unfortunately, as far as the eye could see, the two remained off the radar.
