“Grace has very beautiful eyes, Julian,” Mia sighed in admiration even though she had actually expected that the baby's eyes would be as dark as hers.
“Wait until the color changes to hazel. You'll be more amazed," the man muttered with a small smile.
Hearing those words, the woman spontaneously squinted. “Are you praising the Little Princess or yourself?”
After laughing lightly, Julian kissed his wife's head. "I didn't say that Grace inherited my eyes."
“You implied it,” Mia argued while raising one eyebrow. But a second later, she returned focus to her daughter. After one deep breath, the woman's lips curled up again. "But I'm glad Little Princess has the same eye color as you."
"Why?" the man replied with tilted head.
"That color always succeeds to steal my heart," Mia answered, successfully inviting Julian's sighs of laughter.
