Knowing that Julian didn't leave her, Mia's heart was suddenly filled with confusion. Should she feel sad? Or happy? Her brain was completely incapable of determining.
"Do you know that the clock in this tower strikes one minute ahead of the other clocks?” Julian asked as the silence returned.
