Lorain's POV

I slowly opened my eyes because of the sunlight hitting my face, "Raziel?" I softly called his name on the other side of the bed but it was already cold, a sign that he had left my side for a long time.

Even though my body hurt a little, I slowly got up and wrapped my body in a blanket, I first looked in the bathroom but he wasn't there the smell of his shampoo still lingering and it’s smelled good.

Why did he take a shower in the morning? He didn't say he was scheduled to meet today.
