Chapter Eighty-Nine

A few days had passed after that dinner Sebastian and Scarlett had and the last days had been great, Scar almost completely forgot about all the bad things that had happened.

Scar was currently at work, sorting out some files when her phone began to ring, without checking the caller ID she picked it up, "Hello." She said as her attention elsewhere.

"Ouch, that hello doesn't sound as enthusiastic as I imagined it would be," Seb said feigning hurt.

"I'm sorry, I didn't really look at the caller ID before picking it up. " Scar clarified.

"It's alright, what are you doing right now?" He asked.

"Just sorting out some file regarding the project." She informed him as she multitasked.

"Alright, can I come pick you up later?" He missed her a lot and just wanted to spend time with her.

"Sure, that would be great, plus I miss you a lot." She affirmed and was excited about his offer.

"Alright, lemme not disturb you, I have a surprise for you and will pick you up in 2 excruciating hours." H
