Chapter Sixty-Four

Seb searched every nook and cranny but couldn't find anything; he double searched but Scar wasn't in there, so he decided to go back down and find out the progress his companions had made. He reached the bottom and found Skye.

"Any luck?"

"None and you?" Skye returned the question to him and he shook his head.

They both sighed, "I hope Lucas has found something." Seb let out as they both headed to where the basement was.

They reached the bottom of the stairs in the basement and found Lucas standing in the middle of the room deep in thought.

"Found something," Seb said, bringing him back to reality.

"Yes, something rather interesting, though it's just a theory," Lucas responded.

Lucas went quiet for a few minutes and this made Seb quite impatient, "Spit it out already, we didn't have all day. "
