Chapter Twenty-Seven

"Hey! What are you doing there?" The two men shifted their gazes towards Scar.

She quickly composed herself, "Hi, I'm Scarlett, I'm here to meet Lorenzo."

The younger guy smiled, "Ah, I remember, come with me." He came forward, leading her away from the kitchen.

"Skye mentioned that you could help me out?" She put in as they sat down.

"Yes, so tell me how many people are we dealing with?" He inquired of her so that he could know how many people he'd be cooking for.

"We're dealing with 100-150 people. '' Scar responded she was shocked that he was Lorenzo, honestly speaking she thought the other older man was Lorenzo, turns out she was wrong, she didn't even realize that her thoughts wandered off and she was staring at him for too long until he spoke out.

"Earth to Scarlett, Where have your thoughts wandered to and why are you staring at me like that?"

Scar nervously cleared her throat and spoke up, "Uh—I was just wondering, you look so young. I was sort of expecting an old or middle-ag
