Another Round

Alaric was reading the documents, sitting in his study room. He was afraid that Belle would not feel good, so he took a day off from the office.

Knock! Knock!

Alaric heard a soft knock on the door and easily guessed who was behind the door.

"Come in." Alaric said and intentionally turned his attention back on the documents.

"Am I disturbing you?" Belle slowly walked into the study and asked Alaric with an innocent look on her sly face.

"Come here." Alaric held out his hand for Belle. She placed her head on his and was instantly pulled on Alaric's lap.

"Hey! Stop messing around and complete your work." Belle scolded Alaric in her hoarse voice.

"I have asked aunty to make brown sugar water for you. It will make you feel better." Alaric kissed on the tip of Belle's nose.

"What is this?" A particular modal on Alaric's laptop caught Belle's attention.
