Why are you doing this?

A week had passed, Belle and Alaric didn't see each other often because Alaric was busy with a new project in his company and can barely make time to sleep and eat. Belle on the other hand was greatly impacted by the sudden change in Alaric's behaviour. The harsh words of her Sensei reverberated in her mind causing her to lose her appetite and sleep.

On Saturday night, Alaric walked into the living room with his black suit coat in hanging in his arm, sleeves rolled up and messy hair, and dark circles around his eyes- he still looked elegant, sexy and handsome in his tired state.

The butler and maids were long gone to their quarters as it was half past eleven. Alaric rubbed the back of his head and thought Belle might be sleeping. He turned his steps towards the sofa and saw a little woman sleeping there with her body sprawled.

"She is a kid." Alaric smiled and kneeled before her to examine her beauty. His rough thump made circles on her soft cheeks.
