Chapter Twenty Eight

Third Person's POV

Jefferson arrived at his office and Daria handed him an envelope that contained the report from the investigator whom he asked to look after the sender of all of Celina's credentials. It was supposed to be private, especially the one in the orphanage.

“When did this arrive?“ He asked.

“This morning Sir,” Daria replied and Jefferson nodded. Then he opened the envelope and started reading the report. He took out his phone and looked at his call register.

“Please contact Nicko again and have him look into this number.“ He told Daria and left his office, then he continued reading everything about Xia. He felt pity for her but he thought that it was not a valid reason for her to do what she was doing now with Celina. Whatever she had been through, Celina had nothing to do with it, so he made a decision to make sure to warn her about her friend.

He was thinking whether he would tell Celina about what Xia had gone through. He had a feeling that she would only feel pity
