Chapter Twenty

Still Chaos’ P.O.V

I stood under the full blast of my shower still fully clothed and allowed it to rain all over me.

I leaned my head against the wall in my new shower and watched as the water washed the blood of my mate off my body.

The ass whooping was never part of my plan. But I felt the urge when he didn’t show any sign of remorse or repentance.

That hurt more than knowing he cheated on me. I felt the stinging behind my eyes and I couldn’t help it when they started rushing down my face.

Raw pain and tears rocked my body as I let it all out. I fell on my knees and let it all out.

The pain, the rejection, the disappointment, the agony, my anger and the deceiving hope I had felt.

I cried and cried till all that was left was sniffles and even then, I couldn’t stop.

No matter how nonchalant I acted back there, he was still my mate and the bond joining us was still vibrant as the day it was made.
