Old Luna's POV

At first, it felt like a blessing to have the wolfsbane sucked out of me, and made me feel more alive than I had ever felt in a very long time now. How could it be that a mere Chosan, doomed to be sacrificed because her blood was meant to wash away the stagnation and backwardness in the packs, saved my life and made me whole again?

Just how?

A deadly thing that we werewolves know, kills anyone who isn't an Alpha, faster… Just how is that possible? How?

As I checked my body, tapping everywhere while the car ran through the road, my mind went wild.

"Don't think there's a good witch that could help us out. I should go ask Zhonan about it, if he knows any that could search for what we're missing here."

All of a sudden, the scent of that lycan became fresh in my head. Every breath that I took right there, was his. Leaning further into the backseat of the car, with my arms crossed around my chest, the raging werewolves and that furless lycan that was touching the sky, took ov
