Kolan's POV

Dein was the spy set in central pack, the one who fed us with the information that we needed to push forward. Looking at the face of Thorien, there was no need to ask him how he was faring, the surprise that washed over his face while he stared at me with bulging eyes, was raw and dangerous.

Someone you had known for a very long time, suddenly become the partial enemy was not to be taken slightly. That was how Thorien felt.

"Are you talking about Dein here?" Still obviously in denial, Thorien asked calmly.

That voice made me adjust my weight on the edge of the bed.
