ARIA'S POV.

I stared at him, unable to take my eyes off him. He was staring right back at me with a weird look in his eyes which I couldn't comprehend.

I had expected him to be there. I knew he would try to come and see things for himself. The Kings who had refused to be won over by us had probably given him updates about what we were trying to do.

There could be no other reason for his coming uninvited. He stared at me as I walked on the purple carpet, but I took my eyes off him. I didn't have the time to keep staring at him. There were other things to focus on. The people all bowed, except the important Kings and their Queens. I walked towards Aiden who was waiting for me on his large throne seat, with a smile. He looked pleased with what he saw. I joined him on the seat next to him which was meant for me, and sat.
