ARIA’S POV

“How the hell was a rogue able to walk into my home without the guards sending him back!” Aiden raised his voice, and then both he and Jamison looked at me sharply like they had just realized that I could have been the one behind it.

“Did you…”

“Yes, I did. I…”

“What!” Aiden interrupted me, with his eyes looking as fiery as a flame.

“Look Aiden. You need to calm down. I have a reason for doing that.”

“Come on, Aria. There’s no reasonable reason for you to do such a thing! This is unreasonable, and you know it.” Aiden lashed out, and connected the heel of his palm on his face.

“Just stay calm, and listen to what I have to say.” I said, with a soft voice, and moved closer to him, looking straight into his eyes with a pleading look.
