Chapter 26

She took a quick shower and put on a bathing suit. This one covered her a little more than yesterday's did, but not much. She bought these suits when she came back from DC. She really didn't expect to wear them in front of anyone except Hayden. She covered herself up with Hayden's shirt. She finished dressing as soon as the doorbell rang.

Abigail opened the door, and Jessica gave her a big hug. "Thanks for letting me come over. Is Hayden here?"

Abigail explained that Hayden was away and shouldn't be back until 4. She told Jessica that it was a business meeting. Together, they walked to the kitchen. Along the way, Abigail asked how the girls were getting along. Jessica said everything was going fine with them. Carol and Katy, Jessica's middle child and the same age, always got along fine. The oldest, Lindsay, was now seventeen, and she was watching them today for her. They were going to the movies.
