Cole
When I arrived at my room, I slowly pushed the door open to see the light in the corner of the room turned on, and there she was, asleep curled up on my pillow, and I had noticed that she was wearing one of my shirts as pajamas. My gaze softened at her appearance, so I closed the door gently before walking over to the bed and lifting the blanket to cover her. But the moment I sat down beside her, she started to stir.
Her eyes blinked open as she realized that I was staring at her. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," I said softly, and she started to slightly sit up.
She didn't speak until she finally reached up and wrapped her arms around my chest, and rested her head on my skin. "I'm sorry," she whispered softly, and my arms quickly came up to hug her tightly. "Really, I didn't mean for any of this to happen."
Dreams... The weather seemed quite gloomy as I slung my bag over my shoulder and started walking. I stared at the gray clouds hovering above my head, and the sound of thunder slowly echoed in the distance. I have walked this road hundreds of times, heading in the direction of my home. I watched the ground as small drops of rain began to appear on the sidewalk. As I was walking, suddenly my whole body froze, and it felt like something was hitting my chest, making me wince. Then I put my hand over my heart - it felt like something was broken, or like a hand had reached inside me and grabbed something, and now it was gone, leaving an emptiness in its place. I took a deep breath while placing my hand on my chest, and my eyes looked around frantically. I had no idea if I was hurt or if s
As the minutes slowly ticked by, my eyes couldn't help but be drawn to the hallway. I could tell how he was having a hard time from his unhappy expression, but he was trying hard to hide it. I don't know what time he went back to bed last night, and then he had a nightmare. After that, he fell asleep in my arms again, though I don't know how long it had lasted since he woke up before me. The numerous worry bells kept bombarding my mind, and after a while, I started to approach the two guys who were engrossed in conversation. "Hey, does he look okay to you?" I asked Taylor as I pointed towards the bathroom, and he looked up from the screen. "Cole? He seems fine to me. Well," he trailed off, "he's doing as well as he can with the situation." "I did not get a chance to ask him how he was this morning..." I said as I stared into the hallway lost in thought. It wouldn't surprise me if he was still feeling hurt, but I myself was also not sure if he wanted to talk to me or if he preferred
"I told you to talk to him, not to take a shower with him," Jesse said as he leaned his elbows on the table, and I squinted to glare at him. "For your information, I did talk to him, you know." My eyes glared at him. I turned to my phone and continued typing. "The part where the conversation was held is not important," I said as I continued typing. He scoffed and leaned back on his couch. "So when are you going to talk to this Darren guy?" "As soon as possible. The next time we meet for dinner." I said as I turned to him. "Can't you meet him before then?" He looked impatient. "No, he said he is busy. And I can't explain how urgent this is without mentioning the fact that someone has been kidnapped and this information is very sensitive." I explained to him as to the reason. "Hey," Cole called out as he walked into the room. "Do you need a ride into town?" "Yeah. Why? Can't you drive me?" I gave him a puzzled look. "No, I can. I just thought we could fly to save time." He offer
"Thanks," I said with a faint smile as we both landed on the ground. "Call one of us when you're done, okay?" he said, and I simply nodded. He then flapped his wings again and took off in a very strong gust of wind before disappearing into the dark sky. As I walked through the back of the alley to the front of the café, I could already see Darren waiting near the window. Since he had confessed his love to me on the front porch, I still had not talked to him, so it would have been strange if I had contacted him first out of the blue, especially after I had said that I would wait until he was ready to talk to me again. I walked and took a deep breath before opening the door, the soft ringing of the bell sounded as I turned my head, and he gave me a smile. I walked past the tables before taking the seat opposite him. "Hey," I greeted as I smiled at him. "Hey," he replied before pressing his lips together. "I... uh, I just ordered some food for you, the usual food you order." I gaze
"You ready?" Jesse asked and I nodded before taking a deep breath. "Ready as much as I can be." He straightened up, and I saw his body disappear into a gray mist of smoke as he slowly started moving towards me. I tried to hide the panic that slowly emerged as the mist enveloped my body. Meanwhile, Cole and Taylor were watching us attentively from the couch, and Chase was on the other side of the room. As I took a deep breath, my body stiffened, and my mind began to sink from my surroundings as I lost control of my body. My hands raised and stretched several times as my head looked around the room, and I could do nothing but watch Jesse control me from inside my body. I could not speak or do anything, the only thing I could have were my own thoughts. "How is it, Jesse?" Taylor asked, and Jesse looked through my head to the side. "I feel shorter," Jesse said in my voice, and I could hear the laughter from the guys, "and more petite." He looked at my tiny hands again. "Hey!" I yell
As I watched the two boys climb painstakingly over the rocks and fallen trees in the forest. Though I could barely see in the darkness, however, it did not seem to matter much to Jesse since he was the one possessing my body, given that he was a demon who could see well in low-light conditions. As my body climbed over the edge of a large boulder, Jesse complained, struggling to lift me up. "Jeez, Ray, you should exercise more." "Hey!" I shouted inwardly at him, and Cole chuckled softly as he reached out to help Jesse, who gave him a look that was a mix of annoyance and thankfulness. "Are you sure that you're heading in the right direction?" Jesse asked through my voice, and Cole nodded. "We're heading to the dead grass field. It should only be a few minutes walk away." He said while leading the way. "This body gets tired too quickly. Plus, I'm sluggish as a noodle." Jesse said as he grumbled. "Watch out, she might kick you out and beat your f**cking ass," Cole said with a chuckle
Kody quickly tugged roughly on Aunt Spencer's hair to yank her head back and expose her neck as she shrieked in pain, and Cole's eyes glanced up at her in panic. Silas then used this opportunity to shift his hands into claws and slash at his arm, causing his blood to rush out and spill down as he screamed in pain. Jesse quickly moved my body by leaping to the side to pull him away from Silas. "And that was for attacking my men." Cole continued to hold his arm as Jesse stood in front of him. "What do you want?" Silas smirked at the question from Jesse, and he took a step forward. "That's not what I want." My head tilted to the side. "There are a lot of people who want him dead, sweetie." "Then give her back," Cole cut in from behind, still clutching his arm. "Just let her go, and you can kill me." My heart nearly dropped at his words, and Jesse turned me around to glare into his eyes. This was not part of the plan. Silas's smug smile widened as he pulled out the hidden sacred bla
It was quiet. Nothing but complete dead silence. Silas gradually turned his gaze to Cole, there was a smoldering anger behind his gaze. "Unfortunately, Cole, I can no longer fully accept your offer," he started, and everyone took notice. "Because you owe me a favor." A look of confusion crossed all of us, but Silas' head slowly turned toward Kody. "I told you we would let them go, huh," he said as he pointed at me and the guys before a sinister gaze corrupted his expression. "...Well, now it is time for you to repent for your sins." The next thing that happened made the sound that came out of my throat choke. Kody then raised the large blade and stabbed it into Aunt Spencer's back. The blood-stained blade protruded out of her abdomen, while her face remained frozen, the shock evident on her face. "...Mom." Cole's voice came out so faintly that it was barely audible. "Mom!" This time he shouted while trying to sit up, and tears started streaming down my face. Kody then pulled out t
