"Nathan! Sophie! I'm back with Josh and Hyun!" 

My eyes popped open, it hadn't even been a minute since the two of us had ended the conversation before the front door unlocked and Mrs. Kim waltzed in. I cursed under my breath, quickly shaking Nathan awake since he hadn't even eaten anything proper to be called lunch the pancakes were now cold, probably not eatable as they lied on the nightstand. 

"Mum's here," I whispered against the shell of his ear, rolling over on the top of him and then down the bed and he groaned loudly, trying to block out all the voices with his pillow but I snatched it away. "Get up," I whined, shaking his leg left to right. 

"I'm up, I'm up," he said loudly, hands raised in surrender and I laughed softly, passing my fingers through his partially wet, partially tousled hair. "Mm, how many jobs have you taken up now? My girlfriend, manager, hair-dresser, caretaker, coach, what not?"
