Chapter Thirty six
IRIS
"I slept with him again."
"Who?" Nelly asks confused.
"Who else? Mr Amadi off course." I reply and almost burst out laughing seeing the show of shock on her face
"What? Where? How! Like when?" She blurts out and I'm forced to smile despite the guilt I'm feeling.
"Shouldn't you ask one question at a time madam?" I jokingly question her
"Fine, let's start with this question. When did it happen?"
"Last night. And before you ask how, let me just let you know that it just happened."
"Wait, you are saying that you slept with Mr Enyinnaya Amadi last night, right?"
I nodded in affirmation.
"Are we still talking about the same Mr Enyinnaya Amadi, your so called enemy? The one who almost stopped you from your inheritance and had you bending to his every will, an experience I know you loath.?"
"Yes, that same Enyinnaya Amadi."
She starts laughing so hard and uncontrollably so.
