"I really didn't expect you would come, dear."

Mrs. Angela served a cup of tea that was still warm on the table while sitting herself next to Edna. Last night she had received news about Edna's arrival from Josh, but she did not expect Edna to come this afternoon with Elyseen. She thought Edna would come after finishing her fashion show in Las Vegas.

"Elyseen is eager to meet mom and Zyan."

"You told him that Zyan was her father?"

Edna nodded slightly while sipping her warm tea awkwardly. She knew that Mrs. Angela didn't really mean to offend her, but she felt stunned by the question.
