I walked a long way, I didn't want anyone to accompany me, not even one of the drivers, and when I had walked a few kilometers, I stopped a taxi that was passing by. As soon as I got in, I asked the driver to take me to the main dock of the city.

The driver leaned forward and started the engine, adjusted the rear-view mirror, looked me in the eye and smiled kindly.

The sunlight streamed through the car window and hit my eyes, I sighed as I remembered my family, my friends, I looked wistfully at the backpack I had packed for my new life, I can't help but think of her, of Lynda, and my heart crumpled in my chest like the folds of an accordion.

My taxi driver pulled ahead of me on the way, so we arrived at the place in less than twenty minutes, I paid the transfer fee, grabbed my backpack from the ground, and got out of the car.
