13 Piano Lesson

Kaylee walked into the house and met Laura sitting on the couch as she wrote down in her notebook.

'Probably her assignment', Kaylee thought as she walked towards the dining table slowly.

She was tired from all the bantering she had done that afternoon or evening. Sometimes, Kavinsky would tease her, just to make her angry and she would fall right for his trick and sometimes they would just agree on things and laugh at each other's jokes.

Mr. Blaine walked out of the kitchen and saw Kaylee as he placed the dishes on the table.

"How was your date?", he asked

"It wasn't a date but it was fine", she replied.

Mr. Blaine was about to complain about the time she had returned but when he looked up, he held on to his words. She was smiling, the smile was not a fake one, it looked very real.

It has been a long since he had seen her smile like that and he did not want to ruin it.

"I should take a shower and join you in the kitchen after I am done", she said and he nodded with a smile o
