I rolled my eyes at a joke Alex said. He is never serious for once.

" Don't be a kid"

He laughed harder " but on a serious note, don't you believe that you can find your mate here?"

I glared hard at him " you won't stop it already. I don't want a mate not anymore"

Alex always gets on my nerves all the time. I look around the room hoping to see this lady that always put him in his place. She should be somewhere here. I'm sure Fred invited her too.

" Just stop it already. I'm not in the mood for all this" I said annoyed " let's get this party over and done with please"

" okay big boss," he teased and I glared hard at him.

" Why are you glaring? " he smirked raising his hands in surrender.

I was getting tired of that mask on my face, ready to remove it when someone caught my attention. My wolf howls. There was a lady in a nurse dress, she was as sexy as anything you could think of. I was drawn by her beauty. Even without seeing how she looks like, one can easily know that she is a goddess. Who is she?

She looks lost. Then I saw her, Stella. The lady was with Stella.

" Hey man"

Alex cut me off my thoughts. I gave him a look " yes?"

" What are you staring at? " he asked as he looks towards the direction " I've been calling your names but your mind seems elsewhere"

I never knew I was staring too long. She drew me in. I'm sure she's a human, I've never seen her around here before.

" it's nothing"

" oh please, it's something. Tell me what it is Zion."

" Don't be nosy"

" Nope don't use that on me. What are you  or should I say who are you staring at?" He was adamant.

I let out a sigh " it's nothing"

" Please......

" Look who we have here"

Here comes my savior.

Alex freeze in his spot. He didn't need to see who it was " Stella"

Stella smirked with folded hands and to my surprise, the little angel was also behind her " it's me in the flesh, Alex. Long time no see"

I held unto my laughter. These two were another case. They fight all the time which sometimes makes me wonder if they were mates or something.

The sexy nurse was all smiles, it's looks as if she was already used to this side of Stella. Funny enough Stella dressed as a witch.

Then let's not forget her scent it drives me crazy. This isn't right at all. What the heck is going on here. Her whole attention was on Alex and Stella's bickering

Stella ended it with a sigh then turned to me. She bowed a little " Good day Alp...Zion"

The little nurse furrowed brows a little, trying to understand something. She is so observant I see.

" Good day Stella and who do we have here with you?"

" Yes please, who is this goddess beside you?" Alex asked also interested.

She repaired the masked on her face, she smiled a little but one can easily notice the discomfort.

Stella held her hand " Guys here is my best friend, Ella"

Ella? I tasted the name on my lips. What a beautiful name.

" Ella? I don't know where I heard that name from " Alex said thoughtfully and then lose that mask from his face.

" You?" The sexy nurse blurted, pointing at Alex. A sign of recognition was written on her face even if I couldn't see her face all thanks to the mask. Could she remove it already?

Alex raised a brow "

Me?" he pointed at himself while he stared at her " you know me ?"

Stella also stared at her friend she whispered something in her ears. The former nodded at something she said.

" he's the guy I once told you about. The one at the office" she whispered. Thanks, sir hearing their gift, I was able to hear her. Alex heard too.

He smirks " Ella? Now I remember where I heard that name from. You are the feisty lady at the office?"

Ella rolled her eyes. I found the conversation interesting, what transpired.

" Zion this is Ella a new friend I made that day we went to Daniel's office. The one I told you about" he said.

" you didn't tell me anything," I said raising a brow.

" I didn't?" he asked confused.

" yes you didn't"

He shrugged " Anyways, she's my newfound friend Ella"

Stella snorted " Ella can never be friends with likes of you"

" likes of me? How do you mean by likes of me?" Alex was annoyed

Stella shrugged " a player like you"

Alex glared at her while Ella tried to calm Stella from charging forward.

" look who is talking, is that why you still haven't gotten a boyfriend now? You are always unbearable that's why" Alex retorted back.

I saw that as the perfect moment to intervene. These two are something else.

" Guys, you need to calm down. This isn't the right time to argue over something that can be prevented" I warned.

" he started it"

" she started it"

They said at the same time making me roll my eyes at them " just behave yourself."

Alex released a loud sigh " I'm sorry Ella, you had to witness this childish act of ours"

Ella shook her head" Oh please you don't need to apologize. I caused it all. I'm sorry guys"

" No you did nothing Ella. We were childish to allow this to go far. This should have been a peaceful and lovely party for you but I turned out to ruin it".

" you ruin nothing. This is what Halloween is all about, the party is just getting started" and with that, she removed her mask " I want to enjoy every bit of it. Let go and dance "

I was speechless, she was an angel. Calling her beautiful would have been an understatement, she is the prettiest thing I've ever seen. How did I find it long to figure this whole thing out? She is my mate and I need to mark her as mine.
