I hide behind a big tree ready to implement the plan. Stella was already talking to the guards. My heart thumped in my chest as everything seems to go slow.

The more I think about Zion the more guilty I become. Jeanette also have no idea of what I was about to do. I seem like the bad person now.

I decided not to get too consumed by my thoughts to not fail the plan. I don't know what Stella was saying to the guards but they seem interested. The last guard finally went to join them and that was my cue to leave.

Stella carefully looked at my side to not draw suspicion. I knew that was my cue to leave and I did exactly that. The moment I was out of the gate I turned around and I could catch Stella's gaze, she nodded. I ran after that, I ran with everything I got.
