Emily’s POV—

Time was running out! It was now two hours past the time the school got over and Leona was nowhere to be found! I ran towards the park as fast as my weak legs could go! I have looked for her everywhere in the classrooms, library and bathrooms!! Leona was not in the school building, at least not when I searched! When I reached the park, I found it empty! It was already getting dark and all the kids have left long back!

I looked around for Leona as I screamed her name!

I kept looking around and shouting until my voice cracked and no sound came out of my throat! Her name was now coming out in whispers and I was feeling so tired! Tears rolled down my eyes as I had no idea where my Leona was or how was I supposed to find her!!
