Cardo entered the bedroom and sauntered towards the bed. A quick smile escaped his lips when he saw his wife fast asleep, her hair covering a part of her face.

Gently, he sat on the bed and tucked a tendril behind her ear. That action of his woke Diamondup as she fluttered her eyes open.

That moment, their eyes locked and it was as though the world revolved around them alone as they got lost in each other's eyes.

"Did I wake you up?" Cardo asked softly, his hand still around her cheek. Diamond shook her head against his hand, not bothering to move out of his hold. His hand felt soothing against her skin.

"The maids will be here to pack your things, we'll be leaving tonight" he muttered, finally retracing his hand from her cheek.

"Leaving? Where?" Diamond sat up slowly, staring up at him. Where are they leaving?

"Our honeymoon," Cardk replied and her eyes nearly bulged out of their socket. Honeymoon? Damn, but we just came back some months again?

She asked confused.

“Yes. I know but
