It has been a week since we came back from the Maldives, and Ricardo has been making preparations for me to start as the new head of O'Brien Designs, which made him unavailable.

I hardly see a glance of him these days, and it has been the same with Rocky. He is always where Ricardo is, which is so strange.

I have been in contact with Pinky on the phone which has been keeping me busy, and I'm now at a cafe to meet her.

I waved at her the moment I saw her entering the cafe, she beamed and walked to me, we hugged, disengaged, and took our seats.

"I missed you so much. I can't believe I didn't see you for so long," she giggled, hitting the table while I smiled.

"You are right, I missed you too. But why did you decide to meet here instead of your home?"

Her smile and excitement disappeared immediately and it made me nervous. "Max, he won't stop coming to my place, demanding to see you. I don't want you to bother about a jerk like him."

But Pinky, isn't that discomforting you?
