Elliot was excited, the excitement made him wake up early. He had a surprise for Wanda and he was a hundred per cent sure she would love it. He waited patiently for her to wake up and come down and as if on cue, Wanda appeared still looking sleepy. "Wanda you're up." He said with so much enthusiasm. "Isn't it too early for all this energy?" She asked and took a cup to get some water. "I have a surprise for you." He was beaming. "Don't freak out.". The sleep was clearing from her eyes. "What is it?" He brought out two tickets and showed her, still smiling. She didn't pick what the tickets were for. He got tired of waiting for her to realize so he went ahead to tell her. "Maria da Silva is holding an exhibition in a gallery that just opened and I was invited to the opening event."The sleep had totally cleared from Wanda's eyes. She took the tickets and gaped at them, they were real. She was going to see Maria da Silva in person. Wanda was too stunned to speak. She looked at Elliot
"Wanda." Elliot burst into her room, waking her up. "You've got to get up." She was startled. "What's wrong?" "My parents are coming over for dinner tomorrow evening." She hit him on the chest. "You scared me." She yelled at him. "I thought the house was on fire or something." "Why aren't you as worried as I am?" "Because there is nothing to be worried about. I've met them before." She covered herself again and tried to go back to sleep "We need to do something about the house." He pulled her blanket off her. "There's no touch of you in it." She frowned and sat up. "What do you want me to do?" "First of all, we need pictures." He helped her out of bed. "I've got frames and a printer. We just need the images."Wanda grumbled and followed him. After they both took their baths, they took some pictures, changing outfits to make it believable. They even went to the cafe near the house and took some pictures there. "What next?" She asked him. "I'll print the pictures." He said. "Yo
Mike walked into his client's office and dropped some photographs on his desk, the older man picked them up and looked at them one after the other. "I've been following him for months and I've not noticed anything suspicious.""How can you not find anything?" The man flared. "I'm paying you a lot.""I'll keep watching him.""What about his fiancee? Anything on her?" He shook his head. "Sir, I really think there's no need to keep digging.""Don't tell me what to do." He snapped. "I know there's something." "I need more money."The older man hissed and brought out an envelope from a drawer and dumped it on the table, he told the man to leave. Smiling, he picked it up and left. ~~~~~Jeremy Davis was going through a tough time. His business had gone bankrupt and he had lawsuits coming at him, and if that wasn't bad enough his wife Amber was threatening to leave with their daughters. She told him she couldn't take it anymore, and he needed to do something as soon as possible if not he
"Cherry what am I going to do?" Wanda was crying. After her father's visit yesterday she was badly shaken up and she barely slept that night. She and Elliot left home together and he dropped her off at Cherry's place before heading to work, telling her he'd pick her up when he was done so they could go to the art supply store. "Have you told him?" Cherry asked, she was very concerned."No. I can't tell him." "Why can't you? He can help you." "I'm not giving him any money and I'm definitely not going to ask Elliot for money." "I'm not saying you should give him money." Cherry said. "Elliot can help you with the police or something.""I mentioned calling the cops on him, that should scare him off.""I doubt it." Cherry said. "If he came here all the way from Boston I don't think that'll scare him off." Wanda wiped her tears with a tissue and sniffled. "I don't want Elliot to know about this." "Hopefully he doesn't and you'll be able to sort things out but the moment I feel you're i
"Elliot what is this?" Peter dumped the pictures in front of his son. Elliot had just arrived at his parents' house but Peter didn't even give him chance to breathe. He picked the pictures up and looked at them confused. He recognized Wanda but not the man with her. "Did you send someone to watch her?" "So you don't know what is happening?" Peter asked ignoring Elliot's question."No I don't but you haven't answered me dad." He said."I received these pictures in the mail today." He said taking off his glasses "Someone has been watching her." Elliot rubbed his face in frustration and sat down. What was Wanda up to?"How can you not know your fiancee has been meeting a man secretly?" Peter yelled. The older man was upset, not just because something was going on with Wanda but because it meant someone was stalking her and probably his son too."I'll talk to Wanda." Elliot said. "I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for this." Peter relaxed in his seat, "I'll find out about who's
Elliot was in a good mood, as he was getting ready to meet Tara, he was humming a tune and dancing. His excitement was through the roof. He had changed outfits three times already before deciding to go with the fourth, a black graphic tee with blue jeans and a pair of Nike sneakers Tara had gotten for him on their third anniversary. Smiling to himself, he sprayed some perfume and styled his hair. He gave himself one final look before leaving his room. "Are you heading somewhere Elliot?" Wanda asked him as she saw him skip down the stairs. Elliot stopped in his tracks, he had forgotten about her. He turned and looked at her. His distraction. "Uhh. Work." He said. "It's important." "Oh, I thought you weren't going in today." "Yeah me too but I have to." This was awkward for him. "Is there a problem?" "No no." She shook her head. "I'm going to start painting today." "That's cool." He said. "I need to leave now, see you later." Elliot practically ran out of the house, it felt stuffy
Maya Cyrus counted the tickets for the second time before putting them into their envelopes. There were five tickets in total and she intended on giving them to her parents, siblings and Wanda at dinner later that day. The tickets were for a production by the American Ballet Theatre where she was a ballerina. Maya's interest in ballet was noticed first by her mother when she was six, and she joined an academy when she was seven. Maya served as an apprentice and joined some of the Ballet Theatre's production as a corps de ballet dancer but when she turned sixteen, she joined the theatre officially.Maya found joy in ballet, she felt free and she believed when she was on stage, there was nothing that could stop her. A knock on her door brought her back to reality, turning to face the door, she told whoev
The weekend had come and Wanda was surprised by how fast it arrived. After returning from Elliot's parents' home, she spent most of her week painting or at least trying to, but for some reason, she was having difficulties. Wanda got bored often, and Elliot wasn't home much, so to make herself busy, she focused on painting but it wasn't turning out well. She met with Cherry twice during the week but their meetings didn't last long because Cherry was quite busy, so after spending a few hours together, they had to say goodbye and Wanda would have to return to Elliot's big and empty house. Wanda felt uneasy, she couldn't pinpoint it but there was just a feeling of uneasiness within her, like something bad was going to happen and soon. She and Elliot spoke less and it seemed like he was trying to be formal and official with her. They ate and joked and did certain things together but that was it, she didn't see a spark in him when he was with her anymore. More than once she had asked him if
