Chapter 28 Shadows of death

Kenny and Zeres cautiously made their way deeper into the Summer Palace, hidden under the cover of the dark night. Each step they took was deliberate and quiet, as they didn't want to draw any attention to their presence. Their hearts pounded in excitement and trepidation, knowing they were on a crucial mission to find the antidote.

As they turned a corner, Kenny reached into his pocket and pulled out a small roll of black tape. "Alright, Zeres," he whispered, "we need to disable that CCTV camera up ahead. I'll take care of it." The two cane prepared, blocking the cameras would ensure that nothing about what they were doing would be captured.

Zeres nodded, and they both crouched low against the wall, waiting for the perfect moment. When the patrolling guard was out of sight, Kenny swiftly moved forward, gently pressing the black tape over the camera lens, effectively blinding it.
