Chapter 43 Another journey

Ryan's heart was anxious as he parked his car in front of his house. The memories of what just happened flooded his mind, and he couldn't wait to share this with Kenny. He quickly dialed Kenny's number and waited anxiously for him to pick up.

"Hey, Sir " he said, his voice filled with enthusiasm.

"Ryan! What's up? You sound anxious. Did something happen?" Kenny replied, intrigued by Ryan's tone.

"I remembered the place where I saw that rare plant we've been searching for," Ryan exclaimed. "It was in the garden of the old grandma who saved me years ago when my mother was harassing me. Remember I mentioned her to you before?"

Kenny's memory clicked, and he recalled Ryan mentioning the old grandma once during a heart-to-heart conversation. "Yes, I remember."

. "Anyway, I went there to find the plant, but it was like the place was wiped off the map. The whole area looked deserted, and I couldn't find her house or her garden. It's like everything was demolished a long time ago."
