Chapter 29: Am I Worried?
“Breathe,” Alchy said after we sat behind a broken car. All of us were gasping to breathe and hardly able to speak.
“You should tell yourself too,” I muttered and closed my eyes to calm myself. I looked at Zygo, and he was also panting.
“Did we stray them from us?” Zygo asked.
“I think so,” I answered between my heavy breathing.
It was a moment of silence between the three of us when we suddenly heard footsteps behind the car.
“Shit.” Alchy silently hissed after he took a peek behind, “It’s them.” my heart skipped a beat. We just rest for a minute, and now, we need to run again.
“We should fight,” Zygo said and was about to go out from hiding, but I immediately refrained him.
