“This man was your fiancee.” my grandfather’s words struck me right to my head. I looked at him with knitted brows as he stared with unperturbed eyes.
“What are you talking about?” my voice was shaking, but I tried to compose myself. I caught a glimpse of the man who was walking toward my grandfather’s side.
“This is Robert, your fiancee.” the old man said, leaving my question unrefuted. I was about to speak when the man next to my grandfather suddenly handed me the flower he was holding, making my left brow raise.
I stared at the flowers. It was my favorite kind and color.
